About
Shane LeMaster is a licensed mental health clinician in the state of Colorado, practising in Fort Collins in person and online. He is a certified ketamine-assisted psychotherapist and has worked in community non-profit mental health since 2008, across a wide range of conditions, populations and age groups.
Background
He holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder and an MA in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Argosy University, and completed coursework towards a master’s in Sport and Performance Psychology at the University of Denver. He is a Nationally Certified Mental Performance Consultant. His ketamine-assisted psychotherapy certification comes from the Psychedelic Research and Training Institute, a non-profit where he is a founding member and co-faculty member, and he is currently in a PhD programme in social work at Colorado State University.
What they offer
Alongside clinical work, LeMaster describes providing evidence-based education, harm-reduction strategies and therapeutic integration within Colorado and national psychedelic communities, and serves as vice president of the Denver Psilocybin Policy Review Panel. A lifelong athlete, he competes professionally in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and submission grappling and teaches martial arts locally, and traces part of his interest in psychedelics to questions of human performance. He hosts a podcast on consciousness, Conversations With The Mind.
