Stable Pathways Group

Stable Pathways Group arranges legal, private psilocybin retreats in Bend, Oregon, pairing sessions at Lucid Cradle, a licensed psilocybin service centre, with planning for lodging, meals, transport and activities. Matthew Small founded it in 2023 and works as concierge, and the sessions are led by the facilitator Jeanette Small of Lucid Cradle.

Approach

Jeanette Small became Oregon’s first licensed psilocybin facilitator in April 2023, and Lucid Cradle was Bend’s first licensed service centre. She studied somatic psychology and has long worked with at-risk teenagers and veterans. A retreat has three parts: a preparation day at Lucid Cradle to learn the setting and complete Oregon Health Authority forms, an administration day with the centre reserved for one guest, and an integration day, often on a walk around Bend, then ongoing support. Brighton Loughlin offers massage and breathwork, and the psychiatrist Aryan Sarparast, MD, consults.

Who it is for

Psilocybin services in Oregon are open to adults aged 21 and over. Sessions are one to one, though friends or family can come along for support. Suitability is discussed in a free consultation before booking.

Practical details

The Essentials Package costs $3,000 per person and covers the psilocybin intensive, lab-tested mushrooms and transport between Lucid Cradle, Redmond Airport and lodging. The Mind, Body, Breath Package costs $5,000 and adds a massage, a breathwork session and two meals with Jeanette. Fuller retreats are priced by itinerary, with a 10% surcharge on booked services, and cancelling within two weeks costs $500.

Care and safety

Guests answer questions on medical and personal history to rule out exclusion criteria. The mushrooms come from manufacturers licensed by the Oregon Health Authority and are lab-tested, and doses are capped at 50 mg of psilocybin. Under Oregon rules, psilocybin must be taken on site at a licensed service centre with a facilitator present.
