Psilocybin retreats and clinics

Retreats and guides working with psilocybin mushrooms and truffles, where the law allows.

Psilocybin ceremonies run legally in a handful of places, the Netherlands, Jamaica and the regulated programs in Oregon and Colorado among them, and most of the listings here are retreats in those places. Read each one for screening, dosing, facilitation and what happens the day after.

Questions people ask

Where are psilocybin retreats legal?

In a handful of places: the Netherlands, where psilocybin truffles are legal to buy and serve; Jamaica, where the mushrooms were never prohibited; and regulated programs in Oregon and Colorado. Most of the retreats listed here are in those places. Elsewhere the law differs and the listing says how a provider works.

What should a good psilocybin retreat include?

A medical and psychological screening before you are accepted, trained facilitators present throughout, a clear dose, preparation the day before, and integration afterwards. Read the listing for medical screening and aftercare; the good ones name both, and the directory does not endorse any provider.

Who should not take psilocybin?

People with a personal or family history of psychosis or bipolar disorder, people on certain medications, and anyone in an unstable period are commonly screened out. That is a question for a doctor and for the retreat's screening, not for a directory.

Publication in the FTO directory does not constitute an endorsement of a provider, service, event, or practice.
