Lindsay Brock Coulter, LPC

Lindsay Brock Coulter is a licensed professional counsellor and couples therapist in Illinois who offers psychedelic-assisted therapy and psychedelic integration alongside individual and couples work. She practises with HOHM Psychotherapy and currently sees clients by telehealth.

Approach

Licensed as a professional counsellor and art therapist since 2017, she holds degrees in psychology (BA, University of Wisconsin-Madison) and art therapy (MA, School of the Art Institute of Chicago). She trained as a couples therapist with the Gottman Institute, studied psychedelic therapy with the Integrative Psychiatry Institute and Psychedelics Today, and has been a certified psychedelic-assisted therapist since 2022. After moving to Mexico in 2020 she explored Kundalini yoga, breathwork and plant medicines, which she now combines with polyvagal theory, the Gottman Method, Internal Family Systems and Somatic Experiencing. Her stated focus is the repair of attachment injuries beneath emotional distress.

Practical details

Sessions are online only at present, for clients in Illinois, Connecticut, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Florida. Fees run from $100 to $300, and clients in Illinois may be able to use insurance. Couples intensives of one or more days are available, and the practice offers a free 20-minute consultation call.

In psychedelic work she puts weight on safety, preparation and integration, drawing on her personal experience of plant medicine and Indigenous ceremony as well as her clinical training.
