Psychedelic integration therapists and retreats

Practitioners, communities and retreats that help you make sense of an experience after it has happened, and prepare for one before it does.

Integration is the work that starts when the experience ends: turning what came up into something you can live with and act on. On this page you will find therapists and guides who offer it one to one, communities that do it together, and retreats that build it into the days after a ceremony.

Questions people ask

What does psychedelic integration actually involve?

Talking, mostly. An integration session is a conversation with a therapist or guide about what came up during an experience and what to do with it now, sometimes with journaling, breathwork or body work alongside. It happens before an experience as preparation and after it as integration, and it involves no substance at all.

Is integration therapy legal?

Yes, everywhere. Integration is therapy or coaching about an experience, not the experience itself, and no substance is given or present. Practitioners on this page work within the law of their own country; what a session costs and whether it runs online is in each listing.

How do I choose an integration practitioner?

Look for training you can verify, experience with the kind of experience you had, and a way of working that suits you: some are licensed therapists, some are guides or coaches. Many offer a short first call. Read the listing for medical screening and aftercare; the good ones name both, and the directory does not endorse any provider.

Publication in the FTO directory does not constitute an endorsement of a provider, service, event, or practice.
