About

Lindsey Pratt is a New York City mental health counsellor, licensed with diagnostic privilege (LMHC-D), who offers in-office ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, individually and in groups, and psychedelic integration alongside individual and couples therapy. Her office is on 6th Ave, and she also sees clients in Florida online.

Approach

She blends a humanistic focus with skill-building and a relational view, and takes an active, frank part in sessions. She also uses EMDR and Jungian sandplay. Ketamine is prescribed by a medical partner and taken in her office during a three-hour appointment: about an hour of discussion, meditation and preparation, an hour or so with the medicine, with candles and her own playlists, and the rest to return and begin integrating. She does not use IV ketamine. She has practised in the city for over a decade and co-owns Intuitive Healing Psychotherapy, where she supervises other clinicians.

Who it is for

Her focus includes family and relationship patterns, codependence, trauma, spirituality and plant medicine. She offers ketamine work for depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, grief, transitions, creative blocks and existential questions, including for people new to psychedelics and long-term clients who feel stuck in talk therapy.

Practical details

Fees run from $150 to $300 depending on income, availability and appointment type, with a sliding scale for hardship. She is out of network and takes cash, cheque or card. For ketamine work, the first medical consultation with her prescribing partner costs $250, plus about $50 for a prescription covering four to eight dosing sessions. A free 15-minute phone consultation comes first.

Care and safety

Her prescribing partner handles the medical intake, ongoing medical support and safety protocols. She trained in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and psychedelic integration with Fluence, and in psychedelic care at the end of life, and is training as a death doula with Mt. Sinai.
