The Catalyst Center

The Catalyst Center is a clinic in Denver, United States, running a ketamine-assisted psychotherapy programme. It combines ketamine sessions with what it describes as evidence-based psychotherapy, in an intensive format with medical and therapeutic staff on site.

How it works

Each ketamine session is medically monitored by on-site medical staff, and no one is left alone during a session: a KAP therapist or a trained KAP assistant stays with the person from beginning to end. Preparation work comes before the ketamine sessions, and integration sessions follow, both with one of the centre’s therapists.
