About

Greg Robillard is a licensed marriage and family therapist in Portland, seeing clients in person and remotely. His work is experiential, staying with the emotions that come up in the room, and he draws on mindfulness and EMDR to move through difficult life experiences and interrupt unhealthy habits.

How it works

Buddhist psychology is his philosophical lens, which brings attention to attachment, compassion for oneself and others, and living more in the present moment. He describes the aim of the work as helping a person find their own strengths and connect with their own resilience.

Background

He graduated from Lewis & Clark’s counseling psychology program in 2019 with a degree in marriage and family therapy. Alongside his own practice he teaches at the Lewis & Clark graduate school and on the Psilocybin Facilitator program at the Synaptic Training Institute.
