Jill Sitnick
About
Jill Sitnick is a psychedelic integration coach in West Chester, Pennsylvania, and the founder of The Journey Sage. She coaches people online before and after psychedelic experiences, leads workshops and retreats, and has written a memoir about recovering from PTSD with MDMA-assisted therapy.
Approach
Sitnick spent more than 25 years in educational technology, 20 of them in K-12 schools, before leadership roles at Microsoft and Amazon. She holds coaching certifications from the Teleos Leadership Institute and iPEC and in psychedelic coaching. Her work grows out of her own story: diagnosed with PTSD at 49, she went through a year-long protocol with her therapist that included three medically supervised MDMA-assisted sessions. Her method, Heal the Moment, looks for the specific moments that shaped a person’s survival responses and returns to them with resources that were missing at the time.
Who it is for
She says her clients have often spent years in therapy and other approaches without lasting change. Her consultations also serve people who are curious about psychedelics, preparing for an experience, or making sense of one they have had. She states that she is a coach, not a licensed therapist.
Practical details
A curiosity consult, a preparation session and an integration session each last 45 minutes and cost $89, and the fee counts towards a coaching package of one, three or six months. A free clarity call comes first. Her Heal the Moment workshop is a half-day, in-person session for 20 to 30 people, held at the host’s venue. She has also led week-long retreats with iboga and psilocybin, one of them in Mexico.
Care and safety
After a discovery call, clients complete a medical and psychological intake form on an encrypted platform and review it with her in an unrecorded online session. Her site notes that MDMA therapy lacks FDA approval.
