Sara Schaeffer Burt
About
Sara Schaeffer Burt is a microdosing coach in Sebastopol, California, who works under the name Akasha Micro. She helps clients plan and keep to a microdosing protocol and make sense of what comes up, working remotely by call and email.
Approach
Burt is accredited as a microdosing coach by the Microdosing Institute, trained in Hakomi somatic coaching, and holds a Western herbalism certification from the California School of Herbal Medicine. She reports 20 years of work with plant medicine and more than a decade focused on microdosing. Her coaching covers dosage, protocol and intention setting, support with emotions and memories that surface, and accountability, alongside practices such as journaling, meditation and mindfulness. She came to microdosing psilocybin at 38, as a mother of two who wanted to break patterns of generational trauma, and says it changed how she relates to herself and to others.
Who it is for
Her site speaks to people wondering whether microdosing suits them, people in a life transition or struggling with overwhelm and anxiety, and anyone wanting to drop old habits or deepen their relationships. She stresses that microdosing is gradual work, not a quick fix.
