Most listings say which style they teach, and many pair yoga with meditation, breathwork or a retreat. If a listing does not name a style, ask; the answer says a lot.

Is yoga part of preparation or integration?

For many people, yes: it is a way of being in the body that carries over into other practices. Several practitioners on this site teach it for exactly that.

Do I need experience for a yoga retreat?

Usually not; listings say what level they expect. Tell the teacher about injuries before you start.
