Questions people ask

What does energy work cover?

Reiki and its many relatives. The listings say what they practise and how they came to it; the site lists them as it lists everything else, without a claim of its own.

Is there evidence for energy work?

Little that would satisfy a clinical trial. Many people find it calming and supportive; it is not a treatment for a medical condition and should not replace one.

How do I choose a practitioner?

By training you can verify, by how clearly they describe what they do, and by whether you feel at ease. Read the listing for medical screening and aftercare; the good ones name both, and the directory does not endorse any provider.

Publication in the FTO directory does not constitute an endorsement of a provider, service, event, or practice.
