Anne Taylor, Ph.D.

Anne Taylor is a psychedelic integration and microdosing coach on Camano Island in Washington State who works mainly with women and offers her coaching remotely. She holds a doctorate in mythological studies with an emphasis on depth psychology, and she states that she is not a clinical therapist.

Approach

Taylor combines Jungian depth psychology and its archetypes with Kundalini yoga, meditation, breathwork and sacred plant medicine, and adds HeartMath and Jung’s active imagination. With women she works through goddess archetypes to bring life patterns into view, aiming at a new personal myth to live by. Her nine-week psychedelic coaching programme runs from preparation and intention through the experience itself to integration. She completed a 150-hour psychedelic coaching certification, teaches Kundalini yoga with KRI certification and is a licensed HeartMath provider. Before her doctorate she worked as an electrocardiogram technician and later as an engineering director at a heart monitoring company in Seattle. Her books include Unveiling Sophia, on the wisdom of the heart, and the microdosing guidebook Inner Journeys.

Who it is for

Her clients are mostly women who live with what she calls high-functioning anxiety or a numb, cold depression, which she links to a lost connection with soul and purpose; she adds that neither term is a clinical diagnosis. The eight-week Hecate course is meant for women at a crossroads in life, and the four-week Persephone course for women new to psychedelics.

Practical details

Each programme is a set of weekly one-hour sessions, one-to-one or in a group of up to 12: nine for the psychedelic coaching, eight for Hecate and four for Persephone. Packages cost $500 to $2,500, and private work $175 an hour. Work begins with a free 30-minute discovery call and an intake assessment.
