Approach

McGraw completed a three-year master’s at the California Institute of Integral Studies in counselling psychology, specialising in integral psychology, after a business degree at Bradley University, where he played Division 1 soccer. Integration work begins with a 75-minute session that maps a client’s psychedelic history and current difficulties, followed by weekly 50-minute sessions using somatic grounding, parts work (IFS), journaling and action planning, and a review after four to six weeks. He draws on psychodynamic, CBT and somatic methods, his own Vipassana practice and his own intentional use of psychedelics over several years.
