Maegan Kenney, PhD

Maegan Kenney, PhD, is a licensed professional counsellor and board-certified coach in Miami who runs Third Realm Integration, an online practice for depth-oriented psychotherapy, ketamine integration and psychedelic integration coaching. All sessions are virtual.

Approach

Kenney completed a PhD in integral and transpersonal psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies, with a dissertation on compassion and countertransference among women who work as psychedelic practitioners. She also holds an MA in clinical mental health counselling. Her therapy draws on Jungian and archetypal psychology, shadow work, inner child work and ego integration, and her training includes ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, heart-centred hypnotherapy, age regression, tantra breathwork and archetypal astrology. For ketamine clients she provides preparation and integration while independent licensed prescribers handle all medical care, and she can offer therapy during a ketamine session on request.

Who it is for

Her clients are adults of 28 and older dealing with burnout, codependency, emotional exhaustion, spiritual emergence, awakening or a shift in identity. She gives particular attention to healers such as therapists, coaches and creatives. People who need crisis care or treatment for severe mental illness are referred elsewhere.

Practical details

Psychotherapy and ketamine integration are open to clients in Florida, Idaho and Arizona: an intake costs $200 and later 50-minute sessions $165 to $190, with most major Aetna plans accepted for Florida residents. Guided ketamine sessions cost $250. Transpersonal coaching and psychedelic integration coaching are offered nationwide at $225 for 50 minutes, private pay only.

Care and safety

New clients complete an intake screening first. After a ketamine infusion, she aims to hold the integration session within 48 hours. Her coaching does not include facilitation, sourcing, dosing advice, medical advice or crisis support.
