Lincoln Stoller, Ph.D.

Growing up as a younger child of older parents and siblings, I became an independent, skeptical thinker. Repelled by schools and group-think, I was climbing in the French Alp at 15, and on my first Alaskan expedition at 17. After working for NASA and getting a PhD in quantum physics in Texas, I started a software firm creating custom software for middle-size businesses. I ran this business for 20 years while becoming a licensed glider pilot and certified scuba diver. During this time, I lived in indigenous cultures in the jungles of Ecuador, the islands of the Caribbean, and the deserts of Mongolia. I explored religious, psychedelic, and altered state experiences using salvia, mescaline, psilocybin, and ayahuasca. My experience with ayahuasca includes growing, harvesting, cooking, and facilitating sacred ceremonies. Using my computer background, I began exploring psychology and brain science, apprenticed with neurofeedback therapists, learned and offered biofeedback and brain training. Going more deeply, I published research, and gained certifications as a hypnotherapist and clinical counselor. I’ve published nine books, blog, and podcast frequently. I offer some neurofeedback training in person and work with others remotely using do-it-yourself EEG training hardware offered by (as of 2025) Myndlift, Neuromyst, and BrainBit. I have two ex-partners and two sons. I live with one son and a cat in British Columbia, while my other son lives with his mother in New York. I would love to bring the family together.
