Olivia Leeker, PhD, is a licensed psychologist in Missouri who specialises in psychedelic integration therapy. She owns The Path to Conscious Healing, a practice with an office in Kirkwood, in the St. Louis area, and sees adults there or online.
Approach
A St. Louis native, Leeker took a BA in psychology at the University of Missouri, St. Louis in 2004, then an MS in 2007 and a PhD in 2011, both in counselling psychology, at Oklahoma State University. She was certified in psychedelic-assisted therapy by the Integrative Psychiatry Institute in 2023. Over more than 17 years she has worked in adult and youth correctional facilities, forensic and VA hospitals, community mental health, a domestic violence agency and university training clinics. Her therapy is client-centred and collaborative, using mindfulness, ACT, parts-informed work, CBT and trauma treatments such as cognitive processing therapy. Integration sessions cover risks and contraindications, expectations and intentions, and making sense of an experience with psilocybin, LSD, DMT, MDMA or ketamine.
Who it is for
She sees adults aged 18 and over with trauma and PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief, relationship concerns, life transitions, personality-related difficulties, psychotic disorders or legal and justice-related issues. The practice is not suited to anyone in an immediate mental health crisis.
Practical details
A 90-minute intake costs $200, a 50-minute integration session $175 and a psychotherapy session $160, and most clients qualify for income-based discounts. The practice is in network with United Healthcare and Anthem BCBS.
