Rima Danielle Jomaa, LMFT
About
Rima Danielle Jomaa, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist and certified clinical hypnotherapist who offers psychotherapy, psychedelic integration and microdosing support by video. Once based in Victorville, California, she now lives in Costa Rica and works online with clients in California and Nevada, where she is licensed.
Approach
Jomaa has more than 17 years of clinical experience and says she has worked personally with plant medicines for more than 20 years, including in Indigenous ceremonies in Peru. Her therapy combines CBT, somatic techniques, parts and inner child work, mindfulness and psychodynamic insight with hypnotherapy, and her hypnosis sessions are recorded for clients to keep. Integration work looks at what a ceremony revealed, works through what it left behind and builds the insights into daily routines; preparation covers intentions, harm reduction and fears. She is a certified Gottman leader, a yoga teacher and the author of From Anxious to Confident.
Who it is for
She works with self-aware adults who seem to function well but struggle inside, with anxiety and overthinking, trauma, burnout, low mood, ADHD, self-worth, life transitions and relationships. Her integration support is open to people who are curious, preparing for a first experience or looking back on earlier ones.
Practical details
All sessions run over secure video, for clients living in California or Nevada. She accepts insurers including Aetna, Cigna, Oscar and UnitedHealthcare, and fees have ranged from $140 to $200. She also hosts private four-day couples retreats in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, built around Gottman workshops, without psychedelics.
Care and safety
She states that she never supplies, prescribes or recommends illegal drugs, and that integration work falls within the scope of her licence. Her LMFT licence number is 82229.
